Giving back to the community is important, and there are plenty of ways to do so without ever leaving your home. One way is to donate money through your voice assistant, Alexa. Here are four tips for donating through Alexa:
- Set up a donation account. This is the first step in donating through Alexa. You can create an account with any charity or nonprofit of your choice, and then set up a donation plan that works for you.
- Give money directly from your bank account or credit card. If you have a bank account or credit card linked to your Amazon account, you can easily give money from those accounts directly through Alexa. Just say, “Alexa, donate $25 to [charity name]” or “Alexa, add $25 to my charity donation fund” and the money will be transferred immediately into the charity’s account.

It’s easy – just select “Support a Charity when Shopping on AmazonSmile” when making your purchase on the website or in the app and choose [charity name].
- Donate using voice commands alone! If all else fails and you don’t want to use any of our other methods (because for some reason you just can’t get Alexa working with [charity name]), there are still ways to donate without even touching your computer! Just say “Alexa, give 10% ..
