Mozilla Firefox is a popular web browser and one of the most popular browsers in use. It’s also one of the most used browsers in the world. One way to keep Mozilla Firefox from suggesting search terms when you search for something on the web is to disable search suggestions. To do this, open Mozilla Firefox and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the window that say “Search.” Then, click on “Options.” In Options, click on “Search.” In Search, select “No Suggestions.” If you’re using Mozilla Firefox for the first time, you might need to enter your computer’s name and password to open Mozilla Firefox.

When you type a search query in Mozilla Firefox’s address bar, you see various search suggestions appear beneath your query. If you don’t find these suggestions helpful, you can turn them off. We’ll show you how.

Firefox Gives You Options

In Firefox, you can disable address bar search suggestions for any search engine that you use. This includes Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, and any other search engines you may have added.

In addition, you can selectively turn off search suggestions. This means you can continue to get suggestions in, say, private windows, while blocking them in regular windows.
