Android TV is a powerful platform that allows users to access streaming content, games, and apps from their televisions. However, one feature that can be annoying is the home screen video and audio previews that are automatically played when you launch an app or stream content. If you want to disable these previews, there are a few steps that you can take. First, open the Settings app on your Android TV. From here, scroll down and select System. Under System settings, you will see the option to Disable home screen video and audio previews. If this option is not available, then it likely means that your Android TV is not updated to the latest version of the OS. Once you have disabled home screen video and audio previews, they will no longer play automatically when you launch an app or stream content. However, if you want to re-enable them later on, simply follow these same steps and select the option to Enable home screen video and audio previews. ..

Google TV introduced a completely reimagined home screen experience. Parts of this new interface have made their way to the older Android TV devices, including the video and audio home screen previews. If you don’t like them, you can disable them.

As the line between Google TV and Android TV gets blurrier, not everyone is happy with the way that the home screen interface has changed. One thing that many people seem to dislike is previews that autoplay when you select them. Thankfully, it’s really easy to turn those off.
