Instagram is a great way to share photos and videos with friends and family, but it can be hard to add links to your stories. Here are four tips for adding links to your Instagram stories:

  1. Use the built-in text editor. If you’re using a phone or tablet, open Instagram and tap the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. Then tap “Text.” If you’re using a computer, open Instagram and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. Tap “Text.”
  2. Use hashtags. When you post a story, use one or more hashtags (#) at the beginning of your post title. For example, if you’re posting about going out with friends, you might use #goingoutnight. Your followers will see all posts that include those hashtags in their search results when they try to find related content.
  3. Add a link directly in your story text box. After you’ve posted your story, click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen and then click on “Edit Story.” In the “Edit Story” box, next to “Title,” type in a title for your story that includes a link (for example: “#linkinprofile”). After you’ve typed in your title, press Enter/Return (or double-click on it). Next, type in your story text and press Enter/Return again (or double-click on it). Finally, add any hashtags that you want (for example: #travelingwithkids). Click on “Publish Story.”
  4. Use an app like Hootsuite or Buffer to add links automatically. If you use an app like Hootsuite or Buffer to manage all of your social media accounts (including Instagram), then all of your stories will include links automatically! To do this, first make sure that Hootsuite or Buffer is installed on your computer ..

Sharing links through Instagram Stories is easy, and available to all users. Instagram offers a simple tool to include hyperlinks to websites or articles in Stories, and we’ll explain how you can do it.

Along with photos and videos in an Instagram Story, you can add a link directly instead of the Swipe Up feature. The new “Links” feature is one of the “stickers” that you can include in a Story. You no longer have to type out partial URL text.

The one limitation of the “Links” sticker is that you can add only one per Story.

To get started, open the URL you want to include in a browser on your smartphone or tablet and copy it.

Next, open the Instagram app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android. Tap “Your Story” in the top row on the Home tab.

Make sure you are on the “Story” tab. Hit the shutter button to click a photo or hold it down to record a video.

Once you capture a photo or a video, tap on the sticker icon at the top of the screen.

Now, scroll down a bit and select the “Links” sticker.

Paste the link you copied earlier, or type out a fresh one and hit “Done.”

Place the “Links” sticker with the URL anywhere and tap on it to cycle between the different styles you want to add.

Select “Your Story” in the bottom-left corner to add it to your Story or select “Close Friends” to make it visible to a few chosen friends.

That’s it! Now you can easily share relevant links in your Stories and make them more fun and informative for everyone.
